Fourth of July Event Updates!

Published on June 21st, 2012

The fireworks show by Pyrotecnico lit up the night sky at the Knickerbocker Park Grand Opening. Pyrotecnico will be back next month to help us celebrate the Fourth of July!

We hope you’re already planning on celebrating the Fourth of July with us at Knickerbocker Park from 6 – 9:30 p.m., and we have even more details about what promises to be a very fun evening.

Local favorite Tommy Rocker and his four-piece band, The Tommy Rocker Band, will perform a live All-American rock ‘n’ roll and country show from 6 – 9 p.m., so be sure to get to the park early! For more information, visit tommyrocker.com.

The Slidin’ Thru food truck will sell mini burgers, and the Snowie-Girlz will be on hand selling shaved ice to keep you cool! The Snowie-Girlz are bringing their “flavor station” so you can customize your treats.

Spread the Word Nevada will be at the park collecting books, as well as selling – for donations – red, white and blue glow-in-the-dark necklaces and bracelets. You can help us ‘Fill the Bookcase’ for Spread the Word Nevada by bringing new or gently used children’s books for donation.

And, of course, a spectacular 15 minute fireworks show by Pyrotecnico will cap the evening. One of the country’s most creative fireworks display, pyrotechnics and special effects companies, Pyrotecnico’s show will begin at 9:15 p.m.

Knickerbocker Park is located at 10695 Dorrell Lane, and a super-size green balloon will mark the spot. The entrance to the community is located at 7051 N. Hualapai Way, just off the Las Vegas Beltway.
