It’s Easy Going Green at Providence!

We had a great time at our first “Going Green – Family Fun Gardening Event and Ladybug Release.”

Providence is pioneering the way for eco-friendly communities everywhere. By employing environmentally conscious options, the developer, homeowners association, residents and builders of Providence provide Nevada with a great example of how to preserve our precious resources.

“Going green” is a way of life at Providence. From green cars to green landscaping, the community has embraced this eco-friendly mindset and continually looks to improve upon it. This spring, the Providence Master Homeowners Association held the first “Going Green – Family Fun Gardening Event and Ladybug Release.” With help from organizations including Star Nursery, Green Living Services, Valley Crest Landscape Maintenance, Southern Nevada Water Authority and Home Energy Licensed Professionals, this event helped to educate more than 100 residents on how they too can incorporate the green lifestyle into their daily routine.

As Providence has been ranked the seventh fastest growing master planned community in the nation, the builders have increased their efforts to construct more efficient homes by incorporating solar energy systems and spray foam insulation that seals in air conditioning.

Focus Property Group is dedicated to building innovative communities like Providence that take care of residents, as well as the Las Vegas Valley. Providence shows that a beautiful and well-planned community is capable of stifling pollution, maintaining the integrity of land, and preserving Nevada’s resources.

We’ll share more green news in upcoming posts.

Organizations including Star Nursery, Green Living Services, Valley Crest Landscape Maintenance, Southern Nevada Water Authority and Home Energy Licensed Professionals helped educate residents on incorporating a green lifestyle.

Everyone had a great time at the “Going Green – Family Fun Gardening Event and Ladybug Release.” We look forward to more of these events in the future.
