We’re excited to see members of the Providence community on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. to celebrate the grand opening of Kickerbocker Park. The public is invited to the celebration, which will culminate in a fireworks show by Fireworks by Pyrotecnico, one of the country’s most creative fireworks display, pyrotechnics and special effects companies.

Festivities will include entertainment by Tony Marques, and his band; carnival-style refreshments for purchase; brief remarks by park development principals; and Fireworks by Pyrotecnico when the sun goes down. There also will be a ceremonial first pitch as well as a fast pitch contest between the new Providence mascot, who will be announced, and Cosmo, the Las Vegas 51s’ mascot.

Event Schedule:
2 p.m. – Providence Master Homeowners Association presentation and the unveiling of the new Providence mascot
2:30 p.m. – Attendees move to Double Day Baseball Field for ceremonial first pitch, and a fast pitch contest between Cosmo from the Las Vegas 51s’ and the new Providence mascot
2:35 – 4:45 p.m. – Tony Marques band performs
4:45 p.m. – Fireworks display begins

Knickerbocker Park is located at the southeast corner of Shaumber Road and Dorrell Lane. The 15-acre park’s design also offers great views of the entire Las Vegas Valley.
